A 6-day Kathmandu to Pokhara pilgrim tour to the five most important Hindu temples in Nepal. You will begin with the Pashupatinath Darshan temple in Kathmandu before moving onward to Dakshinkali, Manakamana, Bindhya Bashini and Varahi.
Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu (1300 meters/4265 feet)

After arriving at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your representative who will take you to check in to your hotel. The rest of your day is free to explore this historic and vibrant city.

Day 2: Pashupatinath and Dakshinkali Temples

In the morning, you will drive to the Pashupatinath Temple for the prayer, before driving onward to Dakshinkali Temple for the prayer and general sightseeing in the area. At the conclusion of your day, you will return back to Kathmandu for the night.

Day 3: Drive to Manakamana Temple and drive to Pokhara

Early in the morning you will start your drive to Kurintar, 120 kilometers from Kathmandu. You will get to the temple via a 10-minute cable car ride, allowing you to experience the true divinity of the Manakamana Temple. The Goddess Manakamana Devi is worshiped with complete rituals. After lunch in your hotel, you will drive along the Trishuli River to Pokhara.

Day 4: Bindhya Basini and Varahi Temples

In Pokhara you will have the opportunity to visit the Bindhya Basini Temple north of Pokhara, which was founded in the 17th century and sacred to the Hindu Goddess, Durga. Afterwards, you will visit the Pokhara’s most famous Hindu Temple, the two-tiered Pagoda-style Varahi Temple that stands on a small island in the Phewa Lake, Nepal’s second largest lake.


Day 5: Flight back Kathmandu

You will take a 25-minute scenic flight back to Kathmandu, after which you can embark on a leisure day which can be utilized buying gifts and souvenirs for your friends and family. In the evening you will be invited to join a farewell session reviewing great photos and sharing experiences of your trip.



Day 6: Airport drop off

On the final day of your tour, you will be taken to either Kathmandu International Airport or another nearby address depending on your desires to fly out or continue touring the city.
