Located just 80 km north of Kathmandu, this trek takes you through Langtang National Park, Nepal’s first mountainous conservation area, renowned for its diverse flora, fauna, and striking mountain vistas. The trail is home to the elusive Red Panda, yaks, and a variety of exotic bird species.

Starting and ending in Syabrubesi, the trek traverses lush forests of rhododendrons, pines, oaks, and bamboo groves, ascending to the breathtaking Langtang Valley. The highlight is Kyanjin Gompa, a serene settlement surrounded by towering peaks like Dorje Lakpa and Jugal Himal. An extra day at Kyanjin allows trekkers to explore viewpoints like Kyanjin-Ri or Tserko-Ri, offering panoramic views of the Langtang range and glimpses of the Tibetan highlands.

This moderate trek not only showcases natural beauty but also immerses you in the Tamang and Lama heritage, with Tibetan Buddhist practices and the famous yak cheese project enriching the experience. Following the 2015 earthquake, the region has rebuilt itself to offer comfortable accommodations.

Day 03: Trek to Mundu or Langtang village 3,310 m – 05 hrs
Day 04: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,749 m – 04 hrs
Day 05: Rest Day for acclimatization and hike to viewpoint – 3,749m
Day 06: Trek to Lama Hotel 2,400m – 06 hrs
Day 07: Trek to Syabrubesi 1,400m – 06 hrs
Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu and then transfer to your hotels 1,300m – 06 hrs
