The Kakani–Shivapuri Village Trek is an enchanting journey that offers a perfect blend of nature, culture, and serenity, just a short distance from Kathmandu. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Kakani, a charming hilltop village known for its cool climate and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. From there, you’ll embark on a picturesque trek through dense forests of oak and rhododendron, gradually ascending towards Shivapuri Village, a peaceful haven perched on the slopes of the Shivapuri Peak. Along the way, the landscape transforms into a beautiful mosaic of traditional villages, terraced fields, and glimpses of the majestic Himalayas.

The following day, you’ll continue your trek up to Shivapuri Peak the second-highest hill surrounding the Kathmandu Valley, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains, including Langtang and Ganesh Himal.
