Join us for a memorable Experience in Chefchaouen, the "Blue City," day trip from Tangier. Stroll around The town's blue-washed buildings and charming streets gives a unique and tranquil atmosphere.
Meet & greet upon arrival in Tangier Ville Port or pick up from your accommodation in Tangier. You’ll have a nice drive through the spectacular Rif Mountains with its capped peaks where You may want to include a short break for a drink before continuing on the track to the blue-village.

Upon arrival we'll start our journey by visiting the medina which is the heart of interest for most visitors to Chefchaouen. Walking around the town with its sky blue walls, originally decorated in this style by Jewish immigrants, can be a nice change to the hustle and bustle of bigger cities.

Chefchaoun is a popular shopping destination as well, as it offers many native handicrafts that are not available elsewhere in Morocco, such as wool garments and woven blankets. Homemade goat cheese native to the area is also popular with tourists. We'll pass by the waterfall (Ras el Maa) to the east of the medina that serves as a meeting point for local residents who come to cool off, chat and do their laundry (including carpets on sunny Sundays).

Our break will be with a delicious meal in the Main Square while watching the passers-by as a way to fully absorb the local culture, then we continue to build our way up to the the ruins of an old mosque (Jemaa Bouzafar) on a hill behind the waterfall, overlooking the medina. Its crumbling tower offers a panoramic view of blue- rinsed houses and buildings. In the late afternoon and after we finish the tour with a Moroccan tea , will drive back to Tangier through the Rif Mountains and be dropped off in your accommodation in Tangier.

Other things to note :

The majority of our tour in Chefchaoun is walking so please wear comfortable shoes and attire to match the weather.
