Tangier – Chefchaouen

Cape Spartel is a promontory in Morocco about 1,000 feet above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, 12 km West of Tangier. Below the cape are the Caves of Hercules. 1 hour .

Caves of Hercules :
The Caves of Hercules is an archaeological cave complex located in Cape Spartel, Morocco. Situated 14 kilometres west of Tangier, the popular tourist attraction is adjacent to the summer palace of the King of Morocco. The cave has two openings, one to sea and one to land. 1 hour

Tangier Casbah :
It's one of the city's main attractions. It was built on the highest point in Tangiers and has excellent views . 2 hours •


Day 2
Chefchaouen ;
Chefchaouen, or Chaouen, is a city in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco. It’s known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled lanes. In the shady main square of Place Outa el Hammam is the red-walled Kasbah, a 15th-century fortress and dungeon, and Chefchouen Ethnographic Museum. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises nearby. 3 hours

Chefchaouen - Fez
Chefchaouen Medina:
Built on the mountainside, narrow and winding streets with that charming blue glow, gives a unique charm to the city with a look of a dream. This magnetic city invites you to take a stroll and explore its rich heritage, while admiring the architectural treasures that decorate its alleys, and having a good time with the local inhabitants. When the sun goes down, and its rays no longer cross the walls of the Medina, the azure atmosphere draw you into a unique scenery where the Kasbah of Chefchaouen stands. Surrounded by gardens, greens succeed shades of blue, forming in the city a small oasis of freshness, the Kasbah looks like a museum ; a collection of ancient weapons, photos and textiles are displayed. The city is also worth a visit for its handicrafts. The wood, wool and tanning trades are common.
