Embark on a day tour through the Atlas Mountains and Ounila Valley to visit the picturesque villages of Ait Benhaddou and Telouet.
Start with pickup in the early morning from your hotel in Marrakech and embark on a scenic drive through the Tizi N'Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. See the snowy peaks of the Atlas and many traditional Berber villages along the way.
Upon arrival at Ait Benhaddou, have lunch at a local restaurant before walking for an hour to the top of the village. Here, gaze out over the fields, kasbahs, and the Anti Atlas Mountains on the horizon. Enjoy the sights of the fortified village which is one of the best-preserved of its kind in Morocco. Admire the architecture which has been used as a backdrop for sets of several movies in recent decades.
After, continue the tour and visit the small village of Telouet, located just north of Ait Benhaddou. Enjoy a short stop here, where you can enter the Telouet Kasbah, a citadel dating back to the 18th-century. Finally, travel back to Marrakech with drop-off back at your hotel in the early evening.
