History, Art, Culture and Beauty is what your day will have with this tour to Monte Albán, Arrazola and San Bartolo Coyotepec
Enjoy a walk to the extraordinary archaeological zone of Monte Albán, ancient capital of the Zapotecs and one of the first cities in Mesoamerica with more than 1,500 years. You will be able to marvel at its pyramids and temples.
We will continue with a stop in the picturesque town of Cuilapam de Guerrero where we will learn about the imposing former Dominican convent of Cuilapam, an architectural jewel from the 16th century. You will be able to explore its hallways, patios and chapels, marveling at the beauty of its architectural details and the atmosphere of serenity that persists in the place.
After this, we will go to Arrazola, a magical town full of art, culture and colors, home of the famous alebrijes, you will be able to witness the process of creating these Mexican works of art, from the selection of the wood to the painting of the figures.
Finally, we will go to San Bartolo Coyotepec where we will have a demonstration of black clay pottery, a fascinating and enriching experience.
