To see the dawn at Angkor Wat, the day begins early, at 4:30 am, depending on the season. You'll visit Angkor Wat more after sunrise; our guide will give you further information.
You will next have breakfast and proceed to Ta Prohm Temple, which is well-known for being completely covered by the jungle. Here, the temple buildings are surrounded and covered in trees. The Victory Gate, one of the entrances to the historic city of Angkor Thom, will be on your itinerary after that. Hindu mythological motifs are carved into the decoration of the gate.
The final stop is the Angkor Thom Center's Bayon Temple. Giant stone faces sculpted on the towers of this temple are its most famous element. The exterior walls are also carved with bas-reliefs representing stories from Buddhist and Hindu epics.
