Explore the beautiful Tuscan countryside on board your own Italian Vespa. Visit the Medieval town of San Gimignano and enjoy an authentic Tuscan meal in this full-day tour.
The day starts with pickup from the Budget Tours office where the group will be taken in an air-conditioned van to the Chianti region. Upon arrival, a local English-speaking guide will share some information on the region before giving a brief safety demonstration and assigning the Vespas.
The tour then starts on quiet and scenic roads, passing vineyards, cypresses, and rural Tuscan houses. Upon arrival to the Medieval town of San Gimignano, guests will marvel at the tower-filled skyline while enjoying a refreshing gelato from a famous local Gelateria. Maps will be provided with tips on the best places to visit and guests will have 1 hour to explore the town at their own pace.
When hunger strikes, the group gathers back together at a local winery to share an authentic Tuscan meal combined with a light wine and olive oil tasting.
After a day full of sightseeing, the group returns to Florence at approximately 5:00 PM.

• A valid driver's license is required, but it is not necessary to hold a motorcycle license
• Participants must be at least 18 years old
• If you do not feel comfortable driving, you can ride as a passenger with your partner

• Participants unable to drive safely may ride double with the guide, if available, or continue the tour on board one of our support vehicles. No refunds will be granted in this case
• The tour is subject to a minimum number of participants and weather conditions and it may be cancelled, rescheduled, or replaced with another tour following the same itinerary in a minivan
• For safety reasons, the combined maximum weight of riders on the Vespa must be less than 180 kg
• If you would rather travel in a tuk-tuk or book an additional Vespa, please contact the local partner before the tour
• A valid credit card for preauthorization is required; prepaid cards and American Express cards are not accepted
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
You must keep social distance while in vehicles
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds
You are required to bring and wear a mask
You must fill out a travel information form
You will receive a mandatory temperature check
All participants who are 12 years and older must present a Reinforced Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Reinforced Green Passes can only be obtained by uploading either proof of full vaccination or proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months to either the Green Pass or Covid Certificate app
All participants must also bring a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport, driver's license, etc)
Meet your guide in Piazza della Calza right in front Porta Romana at the blue P ( parking ) sign at 9:45 AM. The tour departs at 10 AM sharp.
