Admire the Renaissance church of Santa Maria Formosa and hear fascinating stories about the Basilica di San Giovanni e Paolo, where 25 of the doges of Venice were laid to rest. Hear about the role of the Great School of Charity and Captains of Fortune, see the house where Marco Polo lived and pass the historic Teatro Malibran. Return to Piazza San Marco via the Mercerie between the Rialto and San Marco districts.

All participants who are 12 years and older must present a Reinforced Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Reinforced Green Passes can only be obtained by uploading either proof of full vaccination or proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months to either the Green Pass or Covid Certificate app
All participants are required to bring and wear FFP2 masks. Blue surgical masks will not be accepted
Meet under the Clock Tower in Piazza San Marco. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
