Enjoy a day in Tuscany, including a typical Tuscan lunch in the countryside of Florence. You will travel from Florence to visit Pisa, the city of the Leaning Tower, and will pass through San Gimignano, the hills of Val D’Elsa, and Siena.
Your excursion begins at the Santa Maria Novella, as your guide briefs you on the planned schedule and safety instructions before your tour departure. From there, your first stop will be to the heart to the Tuscan countryside, Siena, one of the most beautiful Medieval cities in Italy.
Your guide will show you through the enchanting architectural styles, including the cathedral (exterior only) on the top of the hill, the Palazzo Comunale (exterior only), and more. Next, your tour continues to San Gimignano, another stunning town of the Tuscan countryside. Here you will enjoy some free time to stroll through the town on your own and explore its beautiful squares, architecture, churches, and side streets, while also enjoying the wonderful hillside scenery.
Following this, you will head out to a rustic wine estate in the foothills of San Gimignano, where you can enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch enriched by precious wines. The final leg of your tour will be Pisa, where your guide will take you on a thorough guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli and its monuments, a wonderful urban space with immaculate walled lawns watched over by white marble buildings. Finally, you will visit the most famous landmark of Pisa on your own: the Leaning Tower. Following a long and satisfying day, you'll be safely escorted back to Florence.

• If a storm occurs during the tour and the guide decides that for security reasons it would be safer not to continue the tour, you will be escorted back to the departure point (if this happens, no refund will be issued)
• Comfortable shoes are suggested
• In case of intolerance or allergies, please advise when booking and before the tour to avoid any inconvenience
• Please note that children under 8 are not allowed to climb the Leaning Tower
• If you arrive after the tour start time, you will not be able to join and will not be refunded or have your tour rescheduled
• There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements, in this event, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
• Entrance into Siena Cathedral requires a strict dress code; make sure your knees and shoulders covered
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds
You must bring your own headphones
You are required to bring and wear a mask
You must present either proof of full vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 3 months, or a negative test taken no more than 24 hours before the activity starts
All participants over 12 years old must present one of the following: proof of full vaccination, proof of first vaccination administered at least 22 days ago, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 6 months, or a negative PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts
Please meet at Piazzale Montelungo Bus Terminal, next to Santa Maria Novella Train Station, and look for a staff member wearing a fuchsia jacket. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure to avoid any delays.
