Begin with a pickup from your hotel in Sorrento and head off to the ancient city. Walk the Roman streets of the burial site along with a guide-archaeologist. Follow a path between the theaters, houses, brothel, the forum, and more.
Then, hop in the van to reach Vesuvius, stopping at a local winery for a typical wine tasting and lunch. Afterward, hike to the summit of Vesuvius to admire the stunning views of the Gulf of Naples, as you learn the history of the volcano from your guide.
