Follow in the footsteps of Vikings as you explore the dramatic geothermal landscapes of Iceland. Depart Reykjavik and head towards Þingvellir National Park, where the tectonic plates of America and Europe are pulling apart!
Make use of the Wi-Fi connected computer tablets in each seat, including a GPS-sensitive audio guide available in 10 languages. A local guide will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. See the oldest parliament in the world in Þingvellir National Park, and feast your eyes on the rift valley along the shores of Iceland’s biggest lake.

• This tour is available year round, depending on the weather conditions
• Children aged 12 to 15 years old get a 50% discount
• Children up to 11 years old are free of charge
• There are no age limits
• There is no minimum number requirement
• Dress according to the weather. Warm and waterproof clothing is recommended. The weather can change suddenly and it is best to expect the unexpected. Bring a waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good outdoor shoes are also recommended
• Bring your own headphones for the audio guide as they will fit you best. If you don’t have your own or forget to bring them, earphones are available to purchase on board the bus
• The duration of the tour is approximately 7.5-hours, including a minimum 30-minute stop at Geysir, Gullfoss Waterfall and Þingvellir National Park
• Shops are available at Geysir and Gullfoss to purchase food and drinks
All required protective equipment is provided
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
You must keep social distance while in vehicles
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds
You must bring your own headphones
Pickup starts 30 minutes prior to the departure time. Please be ready and on the lookout for a green Smartbus. As each driver sometimes has a few stops, it can take up to 30 minutes to finish the pickup, so there is no need to worry if the bus is not there right away. You can be picked up from most hotels, hostels, and guesthouses. Please note that in the city center some areas are restricted for buses and the driver can only stop at certain bus stops. If you need direction to the nearest bus stop, please visit the city's web guide (www.busstop.is).
Please note: Pickup is not available from Airbnb or private housing. We suggest you select the nearest hotel address or bus stop and request the pickup from there.
