The best time to visit is 05.00 in the morning during the rainy season. Watch the stunning sunrise from Mangunan Hill, views of small hills and a river stretching across Yogyakarta.
When the day starts to get hot, we will head to Goa Pindul to follow the turquoise underground river. Pindul Cave is one of the exciting destinations in Gunung Kidul, which is also one of the few tourist attractions in Yogyakarta that offers an experience like this. You will enjoy the beauty of stalactites and stalagmites while floating in a tube with the amazing karst cave formation along the way.
