Be collected from your accommodation in Yogyakarta early in the morning and travel to Mount Merapi to see the sunrise. Feel the thrill of driving on an active volcano, explore the museum, and learn about the devastating 2010 eruption, which took the lives of 353 people.
After witnessing the colorful sunrise, continue your trip toward Jomblang Cave, on the southern side of Yogyakarta. Use rappelling gear to descend around 59 meters to the bottom of the cave, then walk about 270 meters through a muddy tunnel to the spot where you'll catch a spectacular ray of light.
End your journey at Timang Beach, known for its crystal blue waters, huge waves, tall cliffs, and iconic hand-drawn gondola. Choose to take the manual gondola ride or a rope bridge to the island nearby at an extra cost. Eat lunch on the beach before driving back to your hotel.
