Jama Masjid:
Jama Masjid, also known as the Friday Mosque, this architectural wonder made of red sandstone can hold around 25,000 people at one go. Built by emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest and the most splendid mosque in India. Visitors must wear traditional clothes and remove their shoes before entering the mosque.

Humayun Tomb:
sublime and extremely surreal is the charm of this monument that was built for emperor Humayun by his wife, Haji Begum. Symmetrical gardens, arched facades, and distinct Persian and Mughal elements make this historic edifice stand out from the rest. The work involving marble and red sandstone is truly arresting. You may either visit Akshardham Temple or Humayun's Tomb.

Lotus Temple:
Lotus Temple (closed on Mondays), the last of seven major Bahai temples, and built in 1986 out of pure white marble. Around the blooming petals are nine pools of water which light up in natural light.

India Gate:
This 42m high imposing stone memorial in the shape of a massive arch was designed by Lutyens back in 1921. Built-in the memory of around 90,000 Indian Army soldiers, this monument pays tribute to the Bravehearts who lost their lives during World War I, Northwest Frontier operations, and the 1919 Anglo-Afghan War.

Parliament House:
One of the most captivating landmarks in the capital city of India, Parliament House, also known as the Sansad Bhavan is an epic spot to witness. In the year 1947, this building was the place where Britain handed over the powers to the newly independent India. Visitors are not allowed inside.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib:
Spot the onion-shaped domes shining in the sun of this marvellous Sikh shrine (gurdwara) made out of glistening white marble. Carrying immense religious significance this spot is swarmed by countless devotees around the year. It is said that the water of the large water tank set in its premises possesses healing powers.
