The Red Fort is a 17th century fort complex constructed by the mughal emperor shah jahan, also known as Lal Qila. In the walled city of Old Delhi (presently) the fort was the palace for Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan’s new capital, called shahjahanabad.

After that, proceed to visit Qutub Minar, a stunning Unesco world heritage listed site. Qutub Minar is an amazing example of Afghan's architecture constructed with marble and red-sandstone and stands 75 meters tall.

Next stop at India Gate - The 1921 'Tomb of the unknown soldier' has names of 13,300 Indian army men carved on the wall who got died during the very first world war.

Also take a stop at Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential House) It is an impressive 330 acres architecture of 1929, constructed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker who are in fact responsible for constructing almost whole of the New Delhi.

In the end of your sightseeing explore one more Unesco world heritage listed site - Humayun's tomb. This tomb was the tomb of second great Mughal king named “Humayun”.
