Sawai Jai Singh II first constructed the City Palace between 1729 and 1732.

Visit Jantar Mantar (Observatory)
You will visit Jantar Mantar, also referred to as the Observatory, following City Palace. The 19 astronomical instruments were constructed by Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan, and a Rajput king. In 1734, the monument was finished. It boasts the world's largest stone sundial and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Explore Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace)
View the famous "Palace of Winds," which is well-known for its distinctive exterior that is covered with hundreds of windows that are strategically placed to let cool winds pass through the building. Built of red and pink sandstone, Hawa Mahal, sometimes called Wind Palace, is situated on the edge of Jaipur's City Palace and extends to the Zenana, or women's rooms.

Explore Galta G Temple.
Galtaji is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage about 10 km away from Jaipur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The site consists of a series of temples built into a narrow crevice in the ring of hills that surrounds Jaipur. A natural spring emerges high on the hill and flows downward, filling a series of sacred kunds (water tanks) in which pilgrims bathe. Visitors and pilgrims can ascend the crevasse, continuing past the highest water pool to a hilltop temple from there are views of Jaipur and its fortifications spreads out across the valley floor.
