The guided tour of the archaeological site of ancient Olympia and its museum is an exciting journey into the heart of the history and origins of the Olympic Games. As you stroll through the ruins, you feel the sacred atmosphere of a place where humanity celebrated the cult of competition and excellence. Every stone, every temple, tells stories of athletes who challenged their own limits in the name of honor and glory. During the guided tour at the archaeological site of Olympia we will talk about the Olympic Games, their history and importance. We will talk about myths and legends and visit the athletes' training grounds, the sacred site of Olympia with the imposing temple of Zeus that housed the chryselephantine statue of Zeus, and the temple of Hera where the Olympic flame is lit to begin the games. Afterwards, we will visit the Olympic stadium where both young and old could test our athletic endurance!
