Your journey continues to the Jvari Monastery, a 6th-century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta. Known as the "Monastery of the Cross," it is perched on a rocky mountain at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, offering breathtaking views of Mtskheta, the capital of the kingdom of iberia.
