To choose cities and villages that you want to discover, your itinerary for the day will depend on the market days where you will shop for your picnic food. On Monday it is the Cavaillon, on Tuesday the Aix-en-Provence, on Wednesday the Saint-Remy de Provence and Arles, on Thursday the Villeneuve-Les-Avignon, on Friday the Lourmarin, and on Saturday and Sunday the Pernes-les-Fontaines and the L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgues respectively.
Throughout your day you can choose to play a game called pétanque, which is the most popular pastime in Provence. You can also choose to discover ancient monuments, hilltop villages and lavender fields, or take a seaside drive.
There is so much to see, and if you have any special request you have only to let your guide know. If you would like to share your tour with others on your cruise ship, simply place an ad online via cruise critic. At the conclusion of your day out, you will be returned safely to your ship.
