Enjoy a day exploring the stunning palace of Versailles, formerly home to King Louis XIV, and wondering the famous galleries of the Louvre Museum.
After collection from your downtown hotel in Paris, your guide will take you to the Château de Versailles, the former residence of the Sun King, Louis XIV.
Admire the beautifully-kept French-style gardens outside Marie Antoinette’s hamlet and the Grand and Petit Trianon. You will then proceed inside the castle for a one-hour guided tour around the Grands Appartements and the Galerie des Glaces.
Return to Paris at noon, in the Opéra district and then continue your guided tour (in English, Spanish or French) at the Louvre Museum.
Notable works at the Louvre include Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo da Vinci at the beginning of the 16th century.
You will then have the opportunity to take the rest of the tour at your own pace exploring other sections of this vast and impressive museum.
