Bordeaux : In the heart of an organic family vineyard

Discover an organic family run vineyard a stone's throw from Bordeaux. Enjoy learning and seeing all the steps leading to a bottle of wine. Taste different Bordeaux wines and juice of our production.
Welcome to the Pestoury vineyard,
A family member conducts all tours: Isabelle, Bertrand, but mostly me their daughter, Marie.
1 - If the weather permits it, we start the tour outside, close to the vines, to explain the history of our vineyard, its evolution over 5 generations, the grape varietals, the terroirs, the soils, and our farming choices, notably our conversion to organic agriculture since 2020 with its impacts and results on the production. This is a time for explanations that will vary according to the vegetative cycle of the vine on which depends our seasonal work that we will explain and show to you,
2 - The visit continues with a step into our wine cellar to fully understand the winemaking process, whether for white, rosé, or red wines.
3 - Then comes the time to taste! You can choose to try all our range of wines: Bordeaux Blanc Sec, Sweet white, Bordeaux Rosé, various Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge, sparkling wines, and grape juice (subject to the availability of our wines at the time of the visit).
This tasting will be commented on for each wine, with an introduction to the different appellations and characteristics of the Bordeaux region in the first part.

Currently setting up on the farm with my parents, I was raised in the middle of the vineyards, I decided to open the doors of our vineyard to share our wines, our history, and our passion for the winemaking profession with you.
I hope to welcome you for a moment of sharing and friendliness where I will tell you all about our work from the vine to the bottle.
