Drive away from the city to the place with the highest chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Find a warm spot to set up the fire and sit and wait for the show. The more time you spend outside the more likely you are to see the lights. Usually, you can view the Aurora in the middle of a huge frozen lake or river.
All of the pictures of the Northern Lights on the website were taken during tours, some by clients and some by guides. Some were even taken on a mobile phone. Cameras often capture stronger images than what you can see with the naked eye. However, when the Aurora really starts to dance, no cameras are needed. Put the cameras down and observe this very special phenomenon for a much more personal experience.
