Day 1: Mekelle - Hamad Ela
Begin with an exciting drive from Mekelle to Hamad Ela, where you will be staying throughout the journey. On the way, stop for a delicious lunch in Berhile before continuing on to the breathtaking Lake Ass Ale.
Watch the sunset over the lake before heading back to your basecamp in Hamad Ela.
Day 2: Hamad Ela - Dallol - Erta Ale
Start the day by driving from your basecamp to Dallol, where you will be amazed by the incredible colors of the landscape and explore the Salt mountain.
Afterward, head to Erta Ale and set up camp near the rim of the volcano. During the night, explore the volcano and experience the breathtaking views of the molten lava.
Day 3: Erta Ale - Mekelle
