Begin your tour with a visit to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the highest Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo cathedral in Addis Ababa. Built in 1942 to commemorate the Ethiopian victory over the Italian occupation, inside are the tombs of Emperor Haile Selassie and Empress Menen Asfaw, as well as other members of the imperial family.

Next, visit the Tomoca Coffee shop, the oldest coffee shop in Ethiopia, and the Mercato Market, the largest open-air market in Africa. Covering several square miles and employing an estimated 13,000 people in 7,100 business units, the market is divided into organized zones such as agricultural produce, incense, coffee, spices, jewelry, baskets, pottery, leather goods, and metal goods.

Enjoy lunch at the Itegue Taitu Hotel, the oldest hotel in Addis Ababa, built in 1905 by Taitu Betul, the Ethiopian Empress and wife of Emperor Menelik II.

After lunch, visit the National Museum of Ethiopia, which contains many valuable local archaeological finds, such as the fossilized remains of early hominids, the most famous of which is "Lucy." The collection is one of the most important in sub-Saharan Africa.

Next, visit the Ethnological Museum, located in the former palace of Haile Selassie and surrounded by the beautiful gardens and fountains of the main university campus. The museum houses anthropological, musicological, and cultural objects.

Finally, visit the Entoto Mountains, situated at an altitude of 3400 meters. The site was the permanent camp and palace of the former Emperor Minilik II. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the capital and the surrounding countryside.

End your tour with a visit to the Shiro Meda Market, which sells Ethiopian textiles in all their forms, from Ethiopian wedding dresses to various types of clothing, linens, and fabrics.
