Our half-day rental tour lets you Bike and Roll Chicago on 18 miles of lakefront trails - car-free! Brand-new Trek bicycles in many models are available for you to choose from.
Bike and Roll Chicago invites you to tour the city along its 18 miles of lakefront, car-free bicycling trails. We offer brand-new Trek bicycles on half-day rental. Included in the rental fee is a helmet, bicycle lock and trail map.
There are many styles of Trek bicycles for you to select from, including hybrid/comfort bikes, mountain bikes, low-step cruisers, fitness bikes, electric bikes and road bikes.
Our hybrid/comfort bikes are available in both men’s and women’s models. This style features a lightweight frame and allows for a comfortable, upright riding position that makes for nearly effortless exploring of Chicago’s neighborhoods or riding on the lakefront trails.
Mountain bikes are perfect for riding through the parks or heading out to the lakefront. This model offers a lightweight aluminum frame along with large tires that absorb the shocks of off-road riding.
For a fashionable and functional ride, you might want to try our low-step 3-speed cruiser. It comes with a spring-loaded seat and a rear rack to hold your bag.
Fitness bikes are also available in both men’s and women’s models. They’re lightweight and offer an upright riding style - a great choice for riders who want to be able to take in the city’s best sights.
Men’s and women’s electric bike models boost your natural pedal power by providing an electric assist. This is not a scooter or motorcycle, but a bike with a motor that makes it up to 40 per cent easier to pedal.
Our road bikes are the style used in racing competition and are built for speed. They offer an aerodynamic riding position and feature a lightweight frame, dropped handlebars, multiple gears and narrow tires.
If you decide that a half day isn’t enough for your tour, let us know at the time of rental and we can extend the period to a full day for just a few dollars more!

A deposit is required for each bicycle, in the form of a government-issued ID or a 50 USD credit card hold (card is not charged).
Waiver signature is required for each rider.
Parent or legal guardian must sign waiver for riders under the age of 18.
Renters can opt to extend rental period to a full day for only 4 USD or overnight for an additional 15 USD.
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
Bike and Roll Chicago is located at the McDonald's Cycle Center at the north-east corner of Millennium Park. We're just 2 doors east of the Harris Dance Theater, and across the street from the AON Center.
