Self-guided visit or guided visit of a banana plantation in Las Galletas, Arona area.
Since 2012, we have been providing tours that offer an enriching educational experience for people to discover the culture and nature surrounding the banana crop.
You can either choose from a guided tour, or a self-guided tours for independent visitors.
The guided visit lasts approximately 75 to 90 minutes, and covers the most important aspects of banana cultivation. We also demonstrate the traditional method of making gofio.
If you choose the self-guided tour, you can explore the area at your own pace with the help of numbered signs along the way. Information is provided in a folder with translations available various languages. The folder also includes illustrative material and QR codes with downloadable video content.
We recommend allowing at least an hour for a relaxed visit, though visitors are welcome to take as much time as they'd like. Our goal is for you to enjoy the tour at your own pace, taking in all the details and sharing your impressions or questions with us as you go.
Our accessible route takes you through a variety of informative content and ends with a stop at El Cuartito where you can sample bananas and complementary products.
At the end you, can have a take a break in El CUARTITO and enjoy a tasting of banana and gofio products.
