Discover the ancient city of Luxor on a full-day guided tour from Makadi Bay. Visit Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, King Tut Tomb, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, and enjoy a Nile boat tour
In the early morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Makadi Bay in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan and travel to Luxor.
Once you arrive in Luxor, you will visit the Karnak Temple, dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, representing the Theban Triad. Learn about the history and mythology of this place from your guide.
Next, stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, enjoy a short felucca ride and take in the stunning views while crossing to the other side.
Head to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings. See three tombs in the Valley of the Kings, including the famous Tomb of Tutankhamun.
Then, visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, considered a masterpiece of ancient architecture. Marvel at its three massive terraces that rise above the desert floor and into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.
