Our great tour will depart from Quito, where you will be picked up from your accommodation to embark on an incredible adventure with private transportation. We will go to the Forestal viewpoint, from here you can see the great views of the mountains that surround this charming city.
We will continue our route through the Mariscal Sucre Interpretation Center which is located in the Cotopaxi National Park, here you will learn the history of the Cotopaxi volcano, you will have a brief explanation of all the volcanoes of Ecuador, you will also have knowledge of all the animals that exist in the park.
After learning about the history of the volcano, we will arrive at the entrance of the horse corral to prepare ourselves with the proper safety equipment. Here we will begin a horseback ride along the slopes of the Cotopaxi volcano. This horseback ride can last between 2, 3 and 4 . hours, depending on what you decide. In its surroundings you will be able to observe a great variety of wild animals and endemic plants.
Finally you will enjoy a quiet walk around the Limpiopungo Lagoon, which is located on the slopes of the Cotopaxi volcano. While you appreciate the moors and their wildlife, your guide will give you an explanation about the flora and fauna of this place.
