Day 1: Banff National Park Highlights

5. Vermilion Lakes - 15 minutes

Day 2: Icefields Parkway and Jasper National Park
1. Crowfoot Glacier (Pass By)
Begin your journey along the Icefields Parkway with a scenic drive past Crowfoot Glacier. This impressive glacier is easily visible from the road, making it a great spot for a quick photo stop.

2. Bow Lake - 20 minutes
Stop at Bow Lake for 20 minutes to admire the stunning scenery. This glacial lake, with its deep blue waters and surrounding mountain peaks, is a must-see along the Icefields Parkway.

3. Columbia Icefield & Lunch Stop - 165 minutes
Arrive at the Columbia Icefield, one of the largest icefields in the Canadian Rockies. Spend 2 hours and 45 minutes here, including time for a guided tour on the Athabasca Glacier and lunch at the Glacier Discovery Centre. The tour offers a unique opportunity to walk on the glacier and learn about its geological significance.

4. Peyto Lake - 20 minutes
On your way back, stop at Peyto Lake for 20 minutes. This glacier-fed lake is famous for its striking turquoise color and wolf-shaped outline. A short walk from the parking lot leads to an overlook with spectacular views.
