Explore the sprawling monastic complex of Ta Prohm in the jungle and marvel at the massive fig and silk cotton trees growing from the towers. Admire the majesty of the pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, and the 6 tall towers of Pre Rup.
On this half-day tour you’ll be picked up at your accommodation by a Euro Khmer guide and head first to Banteay Srei temple.
The pink sandstone temple was built by king Rajendravarman V in the 10th century. You’ll see that the walls of Banteay Srei temple are covered with the most deep and intricate carvings of any of the temples in Angkor.
In addition to Banteay Srei, you’ll visit Pre Rup, a mountain temple also dating from the 10th century and featuring 6 tall towers. You’ll also have a chance to explore the Ta Prohm temple area.
Marvel at how the jungle has overtaken the Ta Prohm temple complex, and the massive fig and silk cotton trees growing from inside the towers and corridors.
After spending some time exploring the area you’ll be transferred back to your accommodation.
