During the Turkish rule, the city of Mostar was developed on the banks of the river as an important trade centre on caravan routes. Tour the old city of Mostar, included in the UNESCO`s World Heritage List in 2005, with its graceful single span Old Bridge, and the colourful Bazaar with traditional handicrafts.
As you wander the Old Bazaar your local guide will explain the intricate weave of Mostar's everyday life. Next, you’ll get a chance to visit one of city’s historical mosques. Later, enjoy some time on your own, perhaps a lunch in a local restaurant or a traditional Bosnian coffee, before heading back to Dubrovnik enriched for an encounter with yet another culture.
