After pickup from your accommodation in Uyuni, head straight to the largest salt desert in the world. Marvel at the seemingly endless expanse of lily-white salt, spreading off in every perceivable direction. Traveling across the salt flats, you’ll head to the train cemetery, which houses decrepit, abandoned trains, and a train museum.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a visit to the village of Colchani, where you can view local, artisanal products and souvenirs while learning about the means of extracting useable salt from the flats. Onwards, you’ll head to Incahuasi Island, which is surrounded on all sides by the salt flats, where you can enjoy a picturesque, 360-degree view.
