Excursion to the Salar de Uyuni and Overnight Bus Ride

Discover the Salar de Uyuni and its surroundings on a guided tour of 2 nights and 1 day including meals. Travel between La Paz and Uyuni in 2 comfortable overnight buses.
Day 1
Go to the Bus Office at 20:30 h for registration, then the bus from La Paz to Uyuni departs at 21:00 h.
Inside the bus, enjoy the service of Dinner (Meat and Vegetarian Option), Breakfast, a Bottle of Water, a Hot Drink, Heating, Toilets, a Polar Blanket, Wi-Fi and a First Aid Kit.

Day 2
Arrival in the city of Uyuni at 7:30 am.
Free time to buy snacks, water and other things for your trip.
(we have free time, because all the companies and tourist points are available from 10:30 a.m.).
Then head to our office, 1 block from the bus station.

Start your tour at 10:30 a.m. with a trip to the Salar de Uyuni. The first stop is the eerie "Cementerio de Trenes" (Train Cemetery), which is located on the outskirts of Uyuni.
Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners' workshops next to the salt flat), there you will also find handicrafts made from salt, and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool. These are excellent souvenirs to take home. Take pictures while navigating the vast white expanse of salt, wade the "Ojos de Agua Salada", visit also: a hotel made entirely of salt that is currently used as a museum - restaurant, Flags of the world (where you can bring yours and put it there for free) and a Monument of the Dakar race.

After a morning of exploration, lunch will be served on the way, after that, you will have time to hike to the top of Incahuasi Island to see giant cactus and rock formations made of petrified coral.
Important: Due to the rainy season (January to March), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island.

Next, take your time to organize your group to take fun photos distorting perspective and proportion, on the blinding white surface of the salt flat, playing with the scene is sure to make for fun and memorable photos!

Finally, head to a large area for the unique experience of watching a beautiful sunset over the salt flat, spreading its dazzling colors all over the Salar de Uyuni, and enjoy it with a glass of wine.

Return from your excursion to our office in Uyuni between 19:15 and 19:45.

Afterwards, head to the Bus Office on your own at 20:30 h.
Departure of the bus from Uyuni to La Paz at 21:00 h.

Day 3
Arrive in the city of La Paz between 6:15 am and 6:35 am.
End point of the excursion: Main Bus Station in the city of La Paz.
