Day 01: Arrival and transfer to Thimphu
From Paro airport you will drive through the breath taking mountain roads to Thimphu, the modern and yet very traditional but captivating capital city of Bhutan. Visit biggest Buddha statue and the Tashichodzong, the seat of political and religious headquarters.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing (Spectacular Views and Cultural Delights)
Experience Thimphu breath taking views and immerse yourself in its rich culture. Start with a scenic drive to Sangaygang for panoramic vistas. Hike to Wangditse Monastery, marvelling at Trashi Chhoe Dzong and the valley. Visit Dechen Phrodrang, an ancient monastery with historical artifacts.
Discover Zilukha Nunnery, engage with the nuns, and gain insights into Buddhism. At The National Post Office, create your personalized stamp adorned with your photo. Unwind at the vibrant Centenary Farmers Market, savoring fresh produce.

Day 03: Thimphu to Punakha
Travel to Punakha and make a stop at the Dochula pass, which offers stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain range. Admire the 108 chortens and visit the temple located on the pass.
Take a short hike from the pass to the Royal botanical garden and relish in the diversity of flora and fauna. Visit the old Buddhist college of Nalanda and the Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup nunnery where you can witness the Buddhism in practice.

Day 04: Punakha Culture Tour
Visit Namgyel Khamsum Yuely Chorten and enjoy the panoramic views of the Mochu River Valley before descending through rice fields and villages, marveling at the picturesque scenery. Afterward, we'll drive to the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan for another exciting adventure. Thereafter visit Punakha Dzong a historic fortress and architectural masterpiece that is a must-visit in Bhutan. Immerse yourself in Punakha's natural beauty and explore its historical landmarks, creating unforgettable memories.

Day 05: Punakha - Paro
Drive to Paro, making a stop in Wangdue to explore Bajo Town. Visit the Lhawang Driden handmade Incense factory to witness traditional craftsmanship in incense production.
Pause to visit the historic Tamchog Bridge, built by Thangtong Gyalpo, a renowned figure in Bhutanese history. Take the opportunity to explore Paro town, known for its blend of traditional and modern architecture. Visit Ka Ja Throm, located near Ugyen Pelri Palace grounds, serving as a vibrant Farmer's Market.

Day 06: Taktsang (Tiger's Nest Monastery) 4-5 hrs Hike
Embark on a thrilling hike to Taktsang, also known as the Tiger's Nest Monastery. The hike is approximately 5 hours’ round trip and offers breath taking views. This sacred site has a fascinating history, as Guru Rinpoche meditated here in the 7th century.
Pony transport is available for the ascent at an additional cost of US$20 per horse.

Day 07: Departure
Depart to your return destination from the Dragon Kingdom of Bhutan, with memories of its remote beauty and guardian mountains lingering in your mind.
