The man would get into the carriage with the lady of his heart and whisper to the carriage driver to hire him for a "porcelain ride". He then knew that this was a "delicate matter" and drove as carefully as if he were transporting porcelain. And what happened on board the carriage was only the business of the enamored passengers...
We are reviving this old tradition and offering romantic round trips through Krems and the Wachau vineyards.
