At 7:30AM, your Beijing English-speaking driver will pick you up from your central located Beijing’s hotel, then drive around 3 hours and head to Cuandixia village, which is a traditional village with a history of more than 500 years, listed as one of the first batch of Chinese traditional villages and famous historical sites, about 120 kilometers away from Beijing downtown area!

Cuandixia Village is built on the mountain, according to the situation, with a staggered height, and the whole village unfolds in a fan shape. The upper and lower parts of the village are separated by a 300-meter-long, 20-meter-high curved wall, and the front of the village is surrounded by a 190-meter-long bow-shaped wall, forming a unique architectural pattern. This pattern is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functions as a flood and bandit prevention.

The architecture of the village is dominated by the quadrangles of the Qing Dynasty with a rational layout and strict structure. The grade of the gatehouse is strict. These buildings have both Jiangnan water town windows, buildings, rooms and other details, local treatment on the charm, but also the northern high mansion compound grand overall momentum.

The villagers of Cuandi Village, all of whom are surnamed Han, and the village retains more than 700 sets of residential houses from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which are valuable historical relics, later on have lunch, then enjoy interesting Chinese tea ceremony at tea house before heading back to hotel.
